Language & Culture Summer Camp!
What to Expect
For 3 weeks, we will feature multiple Language/Country Experts, representing different countries, such as Spain, Germany, and more! Our staff mix beginner's language lessons with history and culture of their country, such as:
- showing photos/movies
- preparing / sharing cultural food
- collaborations with current exchange students
- pen pal/skype sessions with our past international students where they can practice their new language skills or ask questions
all making it like a "trip" to this foreign country!
You can expect a lot of fun, hands-on experiential learning. Students should be able to go home with a beginner's grasp of their selected language, equipped with greetings, navigational questions, and relevant vocabulary, and a wealth of cultural knowledge on various regions of their selected country. As if they'd spent 3 weeks there!
