Boone is a picturesque town in North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains. Tweetsie railroad and Daniel Boone Park offer a flash to the American pioneer past.  The Blue Ridge Parkway winds past town, offering mountain views. Nearby, Grandfather Mountain features a high suspension footbridge and a nature museum. Appalachian, Beech Mtn, and Sugar Mtn for skiing and snowboarding. Like mountain biking? So do we. Timetable - flex dates!
This program gives students ultimate flexibility regarding the desired starting and ending dates of their summer in North Carolina. The program is bookable any time  for a period of either 2, 3, or 4 weeks! Advisable is a arrival and departure on a weekend as this simplifies the airport pick-up and drop off for our coordinators and host families. German Customers: We are very experienced with flight bookings in your country and will automatically contact you after your booking to discuss the applicable procedure individually; ex. any possible  need for shuttle flights from a local airport of your choice to either Frankfurt or Munich for the direct flight to the final destination, Boone, NC
With our written confirmation you will receive a STUDENT APPLICATION. We kindly ask to you to fill out this form and and return it to us within two weeks after its receipt. The completed application is an essential tool for our matching process with a local host family on site in Boone.
A student's info on family living, hobbies, pets, hopes and expectations regarding this trip - all this info contributes to finding a "perfect" home in NC.
By the way: Each host family fills out a similar information about them that provides the student and his parents with their personal info.
