Interested in the great outdoors? Less than a hour's drive from Asheville will take you to some of the best hiking and biking trails, waterholes, and more, that the southeast has to offer!
I’m very happy to be here in Asheville and to have this opportunity. This is the perfect way to get to know America. We don’t just go sightseeing, we also volunteer, visit a high school and do a service project where we got to see another side of Asheville. One thing I really enjoy about America is that most of the people here are very open-minded and friendly. For example, you go to a store and they ask you “how are you?” and just start talking with you. No one does that in Germany. You learn so many things here. You have an experience that you will remember for your life. It’s a little adventure you will never forget.
